Voila! ”Volet végétal” from French design team Barreau & Charbonnet turns any window into a drawbridge-style micro-garden. Sort of like walking the plank, but stopping to smell the roses as you do. Why not literally extend the idea and have actual green drawbridges though? Or create an instant green scaffold in the sky between buildings, a network of gangways and ladders, overgrown with vines, between each other’s windows. A city of hanging gardens.
