Something about the cars rushing by Mahan Rykiel‘s installation at PARKing Day last week made me think of drive-by greening. Why couldn’t we strap ourselves with seed guns or some other greening ballistic device, pile into our low-rider and roll past those punk-ass vacant spaces, dealing out a volley of green fire to transform the space in a blaze of glory (or morning glories – whatever floats your boat). Better yet, the vehicle itself could be a mobile green space like Rebar’s Parkcycle.
Only acceptable gang color would be green of course.
