In Search of the Elusive “Ghetto Palm” – First Sighting

GOTCHA!

With a quick point and click we brought our first tree of heaven down – a beautiful shot by Gigi on the 1800 Block of North Broadway, by the Great Blacks in Wax Museum. This was followed soon after by two others in the alleyway above the 1600 block of Eareckson Place. And so we gathered our haul and mounted each one like the horns of an ibex in our rotating digital trophy case:

Reports of spectacular ghetto palm sightings have been made to us by several boastful individuals, but as yet they haven’t presented proof. Until they do, their claims remain fanciful big-fish stories and Gigi and I will continue to claim ghetto palm primacy. We’ll be sharing more of our discoveries in the days and weeks ahead, and welcome all fellow urban adventurers to join us – snap a picture and send it to us, or post on your sites and blogs and let us know so we can spotlight your finds.
